About Us

Who We Are

MASIHA was founded in 2017 by a group of local Muslim physicians of Evansville for one sole purpose, to provide high-quality medical care for the needy and uninsured in our community.

It is estimated that over 47 million Americans lack health insurance. Many families can not afford private health insurance and are ineligible for public assistance. Also, many immigrants and visitors lack adequate access to affordable medical treatment. MASIHA was created to help fill this void in healthcare and serve all those in need as much as possible.
You can help us continue our noble mission of providing free healthcare to the residents of Evansville and surrounding areas. Since we do not charge any patient for treatment, we depend on the generosity of our benefactors and committed volunteers. Your tax-deductible contributions will help cover our operating costs,
purchase supplies, and enhance our level of care. Help make a difference today in improving the health and wellbeing of our community.

MASIHA Free Speciality Clinic is committed to providing free, high quality medical care to the residents of Indiana and surrounding states without regard to race, religion, or nationality. MASIHA is governed by a seven-member Board of Directors comprised of well respected physicians and other healthcare related individuals from within the community.

MASIHA is a volunteer, nonprofit organization supported by a dedicated team of more than sixty physicians and a large number of non-physician volunteers. These individuals are highly trained and motivated to provide the same level of care as is available to those with medical insurance while strictly adhering to all applicable Federal and State laws governing healthcare delivery.
